Augusta Eye MD offers comprehensive diagnostic services and state-of-the-art treatment. If a diagnosed problem requires surgery, they generally perform the procedure at our on-site eye surgery center.

Advanced Pre- & Post-Operative Suites

Our state-of-the-art operating rooms, pre-op, and post-op suites are staffed by specially trained, experienced ophthalmic nurses who assist our doctors in giving you the best possible results.

Augusta Eye MD acquired a new state-of-the-art Nidek GYC-1000 532 nm 1.7-Watt Solid State Laser to add to our laser suite. This laser allows for a non-invasive approach to treatment for disorders affecting the front and back of the eye, such as diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration. Augusta Eye Surgery was recently (March 2021) reaccredited by both the Georgia Department of Health and the Accreditation Association of Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC). AAAHC is the nation's leading accrediting organization of outpatient facilities. Reaccredited means that Augusta Eye Surgery has once again undergone rigorous professional scrutiny and has met the highest national standards for ambulatory surgical care.
